Home Again, Home Again…

This last week saw us in Chicago again for the first of my 2 day ‘booster’ rounds of ketamine-infusions. 

Wait, whaaat?!? But, didn’t I just have a massively long 10 day k-infusion?! Why ketamine again so soon..? 

Yup! I did indeed have a 10 day k-infusion. But, this booster comes not a moment too soon, if you ask me. What we’re trying to do is keep the pain at bay. To almost try and train my nerves to ‘sit’. Then hopefully, to ‘lie down’. And with any luck, by the end of all this, we’ll have gotten them to ‘play dead’.

It’s a lot to take on physically for my little body, but no more burning, crushing, or sudden ‘freezing’ pain sounds pretty fantastic in my book! Like I’m sure most sufferers would, I’d go to the ends of the earth for this one. 

Ta-daaa! So there’s why I’ll constantly be going back and forth to Chicago for the next few months. Hey, the more you know! xx
