NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SLIPS DOWN THE ‘K-HOLE’…

I’m warning y’all in advance to please not click the video above if you’re a little wobbly on the ick factor or perhaps not quite resigned - emotionally, spiritually, or physically - to the fact that you or someone you love has to do ketamine for medical purposes. I wavered on even posting it, but had decided when I made this blog to show the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hey… it’s what we deal with, right?

After the state that I saw my foot in after the accident, I am SO good with the gore. But, not gonna lie… this video turned my tummy a little to watch.

HOWEVER, upon reading the summary, ketamine use for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy is mentioned, so I’m going to assume that the show will be educational and post. Cool?

The show “Drugs, Inc.” on National Geographic Channel will be exploring ketamine, tonight SUNDAY, JAN. 22, 2012 at 9pm ET/PT.

Should be interesting for those of us who do ketamine infusions to manage their Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS/RSD), have thought about it, or would like to learn more.

Oh! And please feel free to always contact me to learn more about ketamine infusions as well, through the ‘Have a Question’ section to the left or of course via email on the project3x5@gmail.com x

Post-Ketamine-Infusions-Saturday : TO MARKET, TO MARKET.
My latest 3-day-in-a-row ketamine infusions finished up on Wednesday, and to my total surprise despite the increased dose and the dreaded symptoms (anxiety, etc.) that have in the past normally accompanied these things for me… this morning I woke up ready for something… uhh… kinda wonderful!
So what to do when (currently) recovering in a town that quite literally has tumbleweeds rolling through it?
… To market to market!

Post-Ketamine-Infusions Recovery Day 2.
Last night ended making me feel as though it’d been one of thoooose (see above face) days.

Ketamine infusions are the worst.
No famous source, but I’m sure had one of the Greats had Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS/RSD), there’d be one.
A get-well card from Will Smith (whether he knew it or not).
Josh is a Saint! Will Smith was recently in Trinidad & Tobago for some reason or another and was told my health story - it’s a very small island - by Josh, who organized for him to sign a card for me and drop it back through a surfing friend.
Are we still following? Eyes open, people! This is Will Smith we’re talking about here!
Josh has been hanging on to it and presented it to me as a ‘calm-down-present’ before my latest ketamine infusions on Monday. Trade boyfriends? Not a chance…
