Saturday 16th, 2012, marks the 10th annual ‘Walk Two Miles in My Shoes”. 

It’s a fantastic fundraising fun walk (go on! say that 5 times fast…) taking place near Scranton, Pennsylvania giving you, your support system, and/or simply those of y’all aware of our battle a brilliant opportunity to raise funds for CRPS/RSD research. All proceeds earned will go the Drexel Neurological Associates located in Philadelphia, PA and run by Dr. Robert Schwartzman - quite the ‘world famous’ name in neurology - having even treated President Ford for a stroke. 

Ooo yes, we want him doing research for us people. Can we get as many people as we can involved in this, please?!?! I wish I were there!!!

Now, I understand that 2 miles is perhaps a long distance for those of us with painful legs - but with such a doctor doing research for us, stare down that light at the end of the tunnel! Encourage your loved ones to do it with you! If walking is not an option, wheelchair it! We’ve got canes, piggybacks, bikes, scooters, wagons, & I’m sure you can think of more! Remember the end result and let’s make it fun, people!!! Remember that end result as it could very possibly hold a cure. 

If it is an absolute “NO WAY” in your books - well that’s ok, we’ve all had super painful days!  then encourage your loved ones to do it on your behalf and be sure to meet them at the end where there’ll be food & fun for all.
