Post ketamine infusion side-effects (anxiety, vision problems, etc.) have hit me like a ton of bricks again tonight. I’m well up to speed on what the doctors recommend, but do y’all have any natural remedies that you’ve heard about or that you’d like to share? As always - you can contact me through the “Have a Question” toggle to the left. Thank you so much, you lifesavers, you! x

All smiles post-appointment!
Spinal Cord Stimulator trial surgery appointment is booked and ready to go! I’m doing it, you guys!
Hopefully this will mean less medicine, less ketamine infusions (can I get a hallelujah on that one?!), and eventually saying goodbye to my chronic pain and my Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS/RSD) in at least the lower extremities of my body (this first implant will only cover the bottom half, but I have the option of putting another one in).
I have to admit that at the start of my battle with CRPS/RSD, the negativity that I encountered and felt within myself, made me feel as though one day saying goodbye to my wretched chronic pain was a totally implausible dream.
However, though my pain has now spread and has the potential to maybe sometimes be at its worst… as I’ve stumbled along the twists and turns of my journey, I’ve ended up right where I need to be. And one of the greatest lessons that I’ve learned along the way, is that positive visualization is everything.
So, cheers in advance! Here’s to a successful decision!

In cooold Chicago, and en route to Dr. Lubenow at Rush University Hospital, to speak about the implantation of my Spinal Cord Stimulator.
Have heard a million mixed reviews on this and its success in battling chronic pain caused by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS/RSD), but I think that I’ve finally resigned myself to the fact that it’s got to be done.
If you have anything that you’d like to share with me on this topic, please get in touch through the ‘Have a Question?’ section, in the yellow box to the right. Would love to hear your thoughts and/ or experiences!
Wish me luck!!! x

Thank GOD for the Light at the End of the Tunnel
Not to be a massive Cheeseball, but sometimes it is SO bloody wonderful to just stop, look up, and appreciate the beauty that God literally paints out right before our eyes.
I’m not photographer of the year. And it’s no da Vinci. But for a yard that’s walked past at least 5 times a day with no notice, to be seen in this light at sunrise after a night of NO sleep due to a flare-up of chronic pain due to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS/RSD)?
Ehh, I’ll take it. x
